When you’re inside Interpine’s Cloud Services remote desktop environment, you have the ability to use OneDrive Sync client to access and sync documents to your Microsoft 365 account.   This provides access to your OneDrive and SharePoint document store.

Location Description and Use
S: Drive
GeoMaster system files including, geodatabases and spatial data and templates.   Most of the time users will not access these folders directly, except if adding generic layers and information to their GIS projects.  There is also provision in this drive to access additional base GIS layers. You would not be commonly storing any files to this location, and only accessing them by default through ArcGIS or GeoMaster.

Deskop
(User Home)
This is you own user profiles and place to store documents.  If using with OneDrive we recommend you turn on “Backup to OneDrive” which will sync all your documents here into OneDrive for you.   Thus ensuring where ever you are or what ever device you have you will be able to access your files.
OneDrive You own user temp work files storage.   This provides up to 1TB of storage or a user to store any temp working maps or files which do not need to be located for others to use inside the “team site”.   For example a GPX file which you have just saved out of GeoMaster which is just for yourself. This folder will also appear on any other PC or Smartphone you have set to access Office 365 with.  It is also designed to Sync continously online so any file stored in this location will be available online.
Sharepoint This is a folder of Sync’d SharePoint Online 365 team working document folders.   Commonly you will just have a subfolder of documents available for access by you wider team.   In this case shown above it provides access to the general file location for all your day to day forest management information, including harvest plans, PDF copies of forest maps, legal titles etc.   Storage is limited only by that prescribed by your subscription (initially set to ~10GB).  This folder will also appear on any other PC or Smartphone you have set to access Office 365 with.    It is also designed to Sync continously online so any file stored in this location will be available online.  You can sync as many document folders are you wish.

So in Word (or other Office applications), you will find it easy to open or save to OneDrive and your SharePoint shared documents folder as these will appear as shown in the screenshot below.

Ways to access data stored in Microsoft 365 (formally Office 365)

The Office 365 team site (shown below) and OneDrive Pro provides a simple interface for accessing and updating documents and information stored.  Follow the links to OneDrive Pro and Sites shown in red.   This can be accessed from www.office365.com on any internet connected device including tablets, and smartphones.

Users can also access the same content using smartphone / tablet apps for iOS (iPhone, iPad), Andriod and Windows Phone.   Shown below is the same team site accessed through a Windows Phone Office App.   Files can be taken offline on your smartphone and used in the field to review and collect information.   All files edited and added will be sync’d back to your Remote Desktop next time you login, creating seemless access to your files no matter where you maybe.
